We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer (PE) to support and lead civil infrastructure projects throughout the Gulf Coast region. This is a strategic opportunity for an engineer with strong hydrology, hydraulics, stormwater, and drainage experience who is ready to take on greater project and leadership responsibility.
You will work with a multidisciplinary team delivering solutions for municipal, county, state, and federal clients.
Responsibilities- Design stormwater, drainage, pond, collection, and conveyance systems.
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, engineering evaluations, and cost estimates.
- Prepare plans, technical reports, permit applications, and supporting documentation.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and client expectations.
- Coordinate with engineers, designers, support staff, agencies, and project stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Support and mentor junior team members as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- 10+years of civil engineering experience.
- Active Professional Engineer license in Alabama or the ability to obtain Alabama registration.
- Strong background in hydrology, hydraulics, stormwater, and drainage design.
- Experience working with permitting and jurisdictional agencies.
- Project management, budgeting, and client-facing experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft 365, and ICPR or similar modeling software experience is preferred.
