Senior Financial Analyst
The Senior Financial Analyst is a highly visible role that partners with leaders across the organization to drive better business decisions and financial performance. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, this role is responsible for financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, executive reporting, and ad hoc business analysis. The Senior Financial Analyst partners closely with leaders across Land, Construction, Sales, Operations and Corporate functions to help drive business results.

- Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models to support strategic initiatives, business operations, forecasting, and investment decisions.
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable business insights.
- Research and explain monthly variances to budget and forecast, identifying key drivers and providing actionable recommendations.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly business review materials and financial reporting packages for executive leadership and business partners.
- Analyze revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, inventory, and operational metrics to support decision-making.
- Lead financial review discussions with department leaders, translating financial results into actionable business insights.
- Partner with department leaders to develop budgets and forecasts while monitoring performance against established targets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to provide financial insights and recommendations that improve business performance.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and operational efficiencies.
- Continuously evaluate and improve reporting, forecasting, and analytical processes to increase efficiency and business insight.
- Support special projects, strategic initiatives, and ad hoc analysis for executive leadership.
- Assist with treasury-related and capital market-related activities on an as-needed basis.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Economics or a related field.
- 3+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information to both financial and non-financial audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Demonstrated initiative, intellectual curiosity, and a desire to continuously improve processes and business performance.
- Experience in homebuilding, real estate development, construction, or a related industry.
- Experience with Oracle, Smart View, Brix, or similar financial planning and reporting tools.
- Exposure to treasury or cash management activities.
