Expense Analyst

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Expense Analyst to oversee and manage employee expenses and ensure compliance with company policies. This role is part of the Travel & Expense team, a key function that supports hundreds of daily active travelers and maintains high visibility across various teams at Anduril.

You will be communicating with several employees and managers on a weekly basis to help educate on proper policies and procedures. As we continue to grow, your role will help define long‑term audit processes and procedures for future team members.

• Review and audit company travel expenses in high volumes daily.
• Ensure policy compliance and accurate coding of expenses (project codes and GL categories).
• Audit expenses for non‑compliance with Anduril policies, fraud, duplicate expense submissions, and ensure that employees are using the company funds appropriately.
• Support with month‑end close by tracking the number of open expenses waiting for manager approval or the employee to complete the expense in order to reduce the monthly accruals.
• Respond to internal messages, emails, and Jira tickets in a timely manner—this role is customer support in nature.

• 1 year of experience with T&E reporting and processing.
• Proven ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize data from diverse and complex sources into actionable insights.
• Experience working with advanced AI platforms such as Claude, Palantir, or similar technologies is highly preferred.

US Salary Range

$60,000—$78,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
