Job Description
  • Build relationships with customers via multiple channels including in‑person, by appointment, and virtually.
  • Provide the best possible counsel while adopting a digital‑first mindset.
  • Build strong client relationships based on trust, assessing and attending to customers’ banking needs.
  • Obtain and process customer and account information.
  • Demonstrate and educate clients on available deposit and loan products and services.
  • Recommend solutions based on each customer’s unique goals and needs.
  • Proactively outreach and follow‑up, asking questions and learning about their financial needs and banking channel preferences.
  • Identify solutions for new and existing clients through effective engagement and communication.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services, including digital products and services.
  • Provide a consistent optimal client experience: greeting clients and processing basic transactions.
  • Develop collaborative partnerships with branch team members and partners to best serve clients.
  • Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests and submit credit applications.
  • Proactively educate clients on emerging and self‑service digital products and services to assist with meeting their financial needs.
  • Leverage available resources and technologies to optimize the client experience and serve clients with operational excellence and accuracy.
  • Required:

    National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z; subject to required registration process, including background and credit check. Failure to meet or maintain any NMLS registration requirements may result in rescission of offer or termination of employment.
Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Typically has five or more years of job‑related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up
  • Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients
  • Advanced knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems
  • Thorough knowledge of all retail products and services
  • Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in participating in sales campaigns/promotions
  • Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self‑service technologies
  • Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset
  • Demonstrated advanced level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer’s needs both reactively and proactively
  • Experience in the financial services industry preferred
Location Expectation

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location for all scheduled work days.

This position also requires 2 or more hours of driving per week. This position will typically cover branches in the Gilbert & Chandler area.
