As a Personal Banker, you’ll be the go‑to partner for clients—opening accounts, assisting with loans, and connecting customers to the right products and services. You’ll play a key role in enhancing customer retention, supporting business development, and ensuring every client interaction reflects C&N’s commitment to service excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Strengthening relationships and business development by opening personal and business accounts, enrolling clients in digital banking tools, and ensuring a positive onboarding experience.
  • Identifying customer needs through conversations, offering tailored product recommendations, and referring clients to specialists when appropriate.
  • Supporting lending functions by analyzing customer needs, originating consumer loans or home equity applications, and ensuring compliant loan documentation.
  • Performing teller and branch operations as needed, including handling deposits, withdrawals, wires, and debit card issuance.
  • Maintaining a well‑rounded knowledge of C&N’s full product suite, including deposit, loan, and digital banking solutions.
  • Promoting community engagement by supporting local business development efforts and representing C&N in the community.
  • Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards in all customer interactions.
  • Requirements

    Education & Experience – You will need a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
    AND 2-4 years previous related experience in a customer service setting, preferably in a banking environment OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Recommended Certifications – NMLS (within 1 year of employment)
