Summary:

Madix, a leader in the store fixture industry, is looking for a Financial Analyst at our Goodwater, Alabama facility. This role will be a key asset in the future growth of the company. This individual will provide strategic support to financial accounting leadership including preparing journal entries, preparing financial reconciliations, assisting fixed assets, freight analysis, and other projects requested by management.

The position reports to the Assistant Controller with an indirect line to the billing supervisor.

# Requirements and Responsibilities

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
• 3+ years’ experience in Accounting or Finance
• Strong leadership skills required.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. SAP skills desirable.
• Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
• Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated.
• Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on capacity.
• Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures.
• Highlight KPI trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variances.
