Position: Dietary Aide/Cook (PRN)
Location: Luverne

Beacon Children's Hospital has an immediate opening for a PRN Dietary Aide/Cook
. We are seeking individuals who are committed to improving the lives of those with mental health illnesses.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals according to dietary guidelines and recipes
  • Ensure that all food is prepared and served in a safe and sanitary manner
  • Monitor food quality and presentation
  • Collaborate with dietary aides to ensure efficient meal service
  • Assist with menu planning and recipe development

    Maintain inventory of food supplies and equipment
  • Follow proper food handling and storage procedures
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
Requirements
  • Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a kitchen or culinary setting
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
