Caregiver (Non-Medical) – Flexible Schedules | Birmingham, AL.

Location: Birmingham, Hoover, Vestavia Hills, Homewood, Pelham, Alabaster, Center Point, Irondale & surrounding areas

Pay: $14.00–$15.00+/hour (based on case type)

Schedule:

• Part-time & Full-time
• 1–12 hour shifts

We provide one-on‑one, non‑medical home care services that allow seniors and adults to remain safely and comfortably in their own homes. This is relationship‑based care — not facility work.

• Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility support).
• Companionship and emotional support.
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping related to client care.
• Errands and transportation (as needed).
• Documentation and communication with the care team.

This is a non‑medical caregiving position. No clinical procedures or skilled nursing tasks are required unless separately licensed and authorized.

• We are not a hospital or nursing facility — you will work one‑on‑one in clients’ homes.
• We are not a gig app — reliability and professionalism are essential.
• We are not a “sit and scroll” job — active engagement and attentiveness are required throughout your shift.

• 18+ with high school diploma/GED (or equivalent experience).
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel within Birmingham Metro.
• Valid Drivers License and Insurance.
• Ability to pass background screening.
• Comfortable using a smartphone for scheduling and documentation.
• Physically able to assist with mobility and stand/walk for extended periods.
