The Relief position will give you an opportunity to gain experience and make a difference in someone’s life while working with people with Mental Health challenges and Developmental Disabilities. Open Sky’s Day Hab & Vocational Programs are located in or near Wrentham, Plainville, Franklin, Foxboro, Norfolk, Uxbridge, Medway, Whitinsville, Douglas, Northbridge and Millville, MA. These programs serve individuals who range from young adults to middle aged adults with developmental disabilities and focus on supporting people to develop meaningful day activities through experiencing Community Based Day Support Services.

We offer people the opportunity to engage in occasional community based paid work options and/or activities such as volunteer work, wellness activities, arts and crafts, exercise, or other life enriching activities. The individuals who attend this program may benefit from support to develop social skills and/or coping strategies to stay safe and work ready.

Relief Counselors play a significant role in our mission to enhance the well‑being of those we serve by providing direct support care, ensuring daily living needs are met while maintaining a safe yet inspiring atmosphere.

• Assist in developing individualized, person-centered treatment plans and play a lead role in the daily implementation plans.
• Assist individuals to access and/or provide transportation.
• Implement activities that create opportunities for the development of valued roles and personal relationships in the community.
• Review and complete all required documentation.

The organization recognizes skills, location, training and population served in certain programs by offering an additional hourly differential. Ask your recruiter if this position qualifies for an additional hourly differential!

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, required.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record, required.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and being open to new opportunities.

Base Rate
USD $17.50/Hr.
