Salary Range: $3,776 - $5,287 per month (dependent on qualifications)

Work Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; occasional early morning, evening or weekend hours.

• Administer medications or immunizations and perform phlebotomy and other standard medical tests.
• Assist practitioners in delivering health‑care services and specimen collection by non‑invasive techniques and CUA‑waived testing.
• Maintain current knowledge of state, federal, and accreditation standards and medical‑assisting competencies.
• Support clinic administrative functions, recordkeeping, and quality‑improvement reporting.
• Collaborate with campus and vendors on equipment maintenance, safety inspections, and other logistics.
• Participate in department, division, and campus‑wide meetings, events, and training as directed.

• High school diploma or equivalent, or a combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities.
• Completion of an accredited medical‑assisting program or certificate approved by the Medical Board of California, with written certification of training completion by a qualified physician.
• Successful completion of a background check, including criminal records check.
• Valid BLS/CPR certification.
• Reliable transportation.

• Previous experience in a college or university health environment.

• Certificate of completion from an accredited medical‑assisting program through the Department of Education or the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education.
• BLS/CPR certification.
