Fresenius Medical Care - 331 Henry Road Southwest - Responsibilities:
Educates patients on available insurance options (Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare Supplement, State Renal programs, and COBRA) and coordinates insurance options with patients;
Obtains premium statements and signatures from patients;
Tracks open enrollment periods and Medicare reinstatement periods with patients;
Maintains and audits patient insurance information in the Revenue Cycle Management system;
Monitors Medicaid status and spend-down amounts and assists with indigent waivers
