Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Jacksonville, AL where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing a new location. Opportunities include working in outpatient orthopedic settings with supportive clinic teams.
Minimum Requirements- Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active state PT license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred. (Client note: Outpatient experience is preferred.)
- Must be eligible and willing to float to other clinics as needed.
- Must be able to meet productivity expectations: approximately 60 visits per week and the ability to see 12–14 patients per day, including double-booked follow-up visits.
- Must be able to work a guaranteed 36-hour workweek with the expectation of working up to 40 hours. OT must be approved by the director before OT hours are worked.
- PT-specific hiring notes: PTA candidates are not accepted. First-time travelers and new graduates will be considered.
- Previous outpatient clinic or orthopedic caseload experience preferred.
- Experience working on travel or multi-clinic teams is preferred.
- Shift: Days.
- Float to other clinics as required.
- Option to work in this clinic or a neighboring clinic as part of a travel team.
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week with expectation to work up to 40 hours.
- Productivity expectation: 60 visits per week; anticipate seeing 12–14 patients per day.

Impacting Patient Care- Provide evidence-based physical therapy in outpatient orthopedic settings.
- Support patient recovery through assessment, individualized treatment plans, and interdisciplinary coordination.
