Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations

Develop creative, individualized treatment plans

Collaborate with a supportive, interdisciplinary team

Provide hands‑on therapy focusing on daily living skills and oversee COTA interventions

Guide patients in using adaptive equipment

Mentor and guide therapy staff

Qualifications:

Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy

Current Occupational Therapist ( OT ) certification in the state of Alabama

2+ years of experience in skilled nursing or similar setting (preferred)

Passion for geriatric care and rehabilitation

Creativity in problem‑solving and activity adaptation
