Location: Nova Care in Columbia, MD (Centre Park Drive location)
Position: Licensed Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA)
Specialties: Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Concussion, Vestibular, FCE's, POETs, and an ACL Program
Schedule: Full-time or Part-time
Compensation: $30.00 - $38.00/hour (pending experience)

Join Nova Care Columbia's leading sports medicine team as a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) focused on orthopedics and sports medicine care. This Select Center of Excellence (COE) features highly trained clinicians with advanced sports expertise, along with access to a 25-yard turf field
, modern equipment, and innovative technology to support high-level rehabilitation and performance.
Work with a diverse patient population across orthopedics, sports medicine, vestibular, concussion, and industrial rehabilitation. Ideal for a PTA who values variety, collaboration, and helping patients, from everyday individuals to athletes, return to peak function and performance.

- Flexible full-time schedule (40 hours/week), including treating 2 evenings until 7:30 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with the last patient scheduled at 6:30 PM

Work with a variety of team sizes, patient populations, and specialties
- Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
- Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
- Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
- College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
- Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
- Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
- CPR certification
