Qualified Mental Health Professional | Full Time Calhoun County Jail | Alabama Mental Health Services 30 Hours Per Week Full Time Opportunity Bring Your Mental Health Expertise Where It Matters Southern Health Partners is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to provide mental health services at the Calhoun County Jail.

This full-time opportunity is ideal for a mental health professional who wants to use their skills to make a meaningful impact. We welcome qualified professionals from a variety of backgrounds, including counselors, social workers, and psychiatric RNs.What You'll DoProvide mental health assessments, evaluations, and ongoing clinical support

Identify mental health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans

Provide counseling and therapeutic interventions as appropriate

Monitor patient progress and document services in accordance with professional standards

Assist with crisis intervention and mental health stabilization

Collaborate with medical, nursing, and correctional staff to support patient care Provide mental health education and support

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Participate in a multidisciplinary approach to patient care Qualifications Qualified Mental Health Professional credentials appropriate to your discipline

Qualified candidates may include Licensed Counselors, Social Workers, or Psychiatric RNsMental health or behavioral health experience preferred

Strong communication, assessment, and documentation skills

Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
