Senior HR Associate - HR Accommodation Team
We are searching for a dynamic individual with outstanding customer service skills to join our HR Accommodation team. The successful candidate will work directly with our associates and their leadership team in providing short term and long term ADAAA accommodations in accordance with Title I of the ADAAA. This role requires excellent communication skills both verbal and in writing, organizational skills, attention to detail and critical thinking along with a strong focus on the associate experience.
Key Responsibilities- Engage in the interactive process with associates requesting leave, modifications to assist in performing the essential functions of their jobs, ergonomic solutions, or other adjustments to aid in performing task and/or reassignment
- Perform activities defined in the accommodation services and processes to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies in a timely manner
- Demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills, superior attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to build strong relationships and influence others while working in a cross functional environment
- Deliver on an excellent associate experience
- Perform end-to-end case management for Title I cases; update system interactions, recommendation options, assess risk, resolve issues and elevate as appropriate
- Participate in agile pods and activities; updating internal ADA Toolkit, training and other duties assigned by Team lead/Leave manager
- Able to drive projects and tasks to completion autonomously
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
- At least 2 year of Microsoft Office or Google Suite experience
- At least 2 year of customer service experience
- Bachelor's Degree or military experience
- Knowledge of federal and state disability laws regarding access for people with disabilities; specifically, ADA and FMLA
- 2+ years experience in Benefits
- 2+ years experience in Human Resources
- Ability to problem solve, manage multiple priorities and excellent follow up skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part‑time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Richmond, VA: $80,800 - $92,200 for Sr. HR Associate
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
