Human Resources Analyst
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Analyst for our corporate office near Brookwood, Alabama. This person will be a role model for the "Warrior Way" and uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and teamwork.
About the Role:
The Analyst - HR is responsible for end-to-end data entry administration, ensuring timely and accurate input. This role partners closely with operations, HR, Payroll, and the Workday team, and reports to the HR Lead for the assigned site. The position also supports the development and documentation of standardized data entry procedures. The HR Analyst role performs a variety of duties as a member of the Human Resources team, providing human resources, payroll and benefits support to employees within Warrior Met Coal and externally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Input and maintain data in HCM system
- Provide support to newly hired employees during Onboarding
- Process cases with payroll and benefit vendors regarding insurance, payroll and support orders
- Assist Warrior Met Coal employees with issues regarding employee self-service, payroll, benefits and other HR-related items
- Provide verbal or documented data to external agencies regarding new hires, withholding orders, union dues, insurance, uniforms and employment verification
- Manage confidential employee information with discretion. Supports newly hired employees through the Onboarding process
- Assist employees with HR or system-related issues
- Data Entry
- External Support to Vendors and Outside Agencies
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Who You Are:
- 1–3 years of experience in HR operations, time and attendance administration, or related HR systems roles.
- Strong knowledge of timekeeping processes within an ERP environment.
- Ability to analyze complex data for accuracy and inconsistencies.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data reconciliation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to meet an early start time as required by operations.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field preferred.
- HR and/or payroll experience in a heavy industrial, unionized, or mining environment.
- Familiarity with Workday or similar ERP systems.
- Understanding of wage and hour regulations.
- Experience auditing high-volume data and resolving discrepancies.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet multiple deadlines.
- High attention to detail, integrity, and commitment to confidentiality.
