The HR Generalist provides comprehensive human resources support across recruitment and talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, personnel administration, compliance, training and development, HR systems, workforce planning, and employee communications. The position serves as a trusted resource to employees, supervisors, and organizational leadership while ensuring HR practices are consistent with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and organizational standards.

The HR Generalist manages and maintains confidential personnel information, supports the full employee lifecycle, coordinates recruitment and onboarding activities, assists with employee development initiatives, and contributes to process improvement and workforce planning. The position requires strong judgment, attention to detail, discretion, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment.

The Human Resources generalist is responsible for all or part of these areas:
  • Recruitment and Talent Acquisition
  • Onboarding and Employee Lifecycle Support
  • Employee Relations and HR Support
  • Compliance and Personnel Administration
  • Training and Employee Development
  • Employee and Organizational Communications
  • HR Systems, Reporting and Process Improvement
  • Employee safety and welfare
  • Review applicant information and supporting documentation for completeness, eligibility, and compliance with established requirements.
  • Develop and maintain recruitment reports, tracking tools, and workflows to monitor hiring activity and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Coordinate new employee onboarding activities, including required documentation, orientation, system access, training coordination, and other pre‑employment requirements.
  • Ensure personnel records and onboarding documentation are complete, accurate, and maintained in accordance with organizational policies and applicable regulations.
  • Support internal audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory reporting activities.
  • Ensure HR documentation is complete, accurate, timely, and appropriately retained.
  • Coordinate and facilitate new employee orientation and HR‑related training programs.
  • Develop and distribute employee communications, HR announcements, newsletters, presentations, and informational materials.
  • Maintain employee and recruitment information within HR information systems, applicant tracking systems, and other organizational databases.
  • Develop standardized workflows, tracking tools, forms, and procedures to improve HR efficiency and accuracy.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Public Administration, or a related field; or Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in human resources, talent acquisition, recruitment, employee services, workforce operations, or a related field.

  • Ability to build effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, leadership, candidates, and external partners.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, HR information systems, applicant tracking systems, and related technology.
  • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement practical solutions.
