IT Business Analyst, Product Designer
Responsibilities:
- Reports to Director of Product Management
- Creates/maintains service descriptions, product roadmaps, and marketing collateral
- Follows and executes defined product release process with the Product Development Board
- Supports lifecycle management of portfolio offerings in project services and managed services
- Develops and maintains a working knowledge of Microsoft Cloud Platforms (Office 365 and Azure) and their alignment to compliance standards of the Defense Industrial Base (DIB)
- Develops and maintains working knowledge of DIB security compliance standards including NIST, CMMC, and ITAR and their impact on the product portfolio.
- Creates products and SKUs in CRMs (Service Now, Dynamics) for Microsoft, Distributors, and other Partner products in support of Sales/Delivery/PMO/Finance activities
- Creates/manages CRM product eligibility rules, product relationships (bundling), and product offering characteristics to enable efficient quoting and procurement processes
- Regularly reviews Microsoft/Partner catalogs and price lists to update SKUs in CRMs and communicate changes to the Go-To-Market (GTM) Teams
- Delivers live and virtual product training for internal and external stakeholders on solutions, products, and high-level technology; supports industry events and customer meetings
- Collaborates cross-functionally with Sales and Delivery Teams to ensure products are both market-ready and operationally deliverable, aligning GTM strategies with service capabilities
- Manages product Lists/Rules in CRM to achieve pricing model target margins
- Conducts market and customer research to determine product requirements, value propositions, competitive positioning, and then translates them into offerings and feature enhancements
- Works with company stakeholders to define product KPIs, analytics, and reporting needs
- Creates CRM product reports and dashboards to provide insights into product line(s) data
- Additional duties as assigned
- 3+ years of experience in product management, technical support, sales, or marketing in a technology company; MSP, MSSP, or SaaS experience a plus
- Understanding of Microsoft Cloud Platforms, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance
- Experience writing product requirements and product marketing collateral
- Familiarity with product lifecycle, product launches, and GTM activities
- Experience with IT software/ or hardware product catalogs including SKUs, pricing, and lifecycle
- Effective at cross-functional collaboration (e.g. R&D, Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT)
- Hands‑on experience with CRM tools (e.g. Service Now, Salesforce, Dynamics, Hub Spot)
- Entrepreneurial spirit and aptitude for analyzing technology, products, and services
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and specifically Excel (X/VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, etc.)
- Experience creating/presenting technical product information to people at all technical levels
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in fast-moving technology company
- Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and presentation
- U. S. citizenship and the ability to pass an extensive background check
