Jr. QA Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Entry‑Level QA Analyst to join our technology team and support the quality and reliability of software applications. This role is ideal for a recent college graduate or early‑career professional looking to start a career in Information Technology, Software Testing, or Quality Assurance.

• Execute manual test cases for web and/or application‑based systems
• Identify, document, and track software defects using issue‑tracking tools (e.g., Jira or similar)
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Review business and technical requirements to ensure test coverage
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and validate fixes
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as stand‑ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Maintain clear test documentation, including test cases and test results
• Learn and apply QA best practices, tools, and methodologies under guidance from senior QA staff

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
• Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Ability to clearly document issues and communicate findings
• Familiarity with common software tools (Excel, browsers, basic databases, or ticketing systems)
• Willingness to learn QA tools, testing techniques, and industry standards

• Internship, coursework, or projects related to software testing or QA
• Exposure to Agile or Scrum environments
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Test Rail, Postman, or Selenium
• Basic SQL knowledge or understanding of APIs
• ISTQB Foundation certification (or interest in pursuing)
