SPLUNK ENGINEER / SPLUNK DEVELOPER PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Seeking a Splunk professional to enhance enterprise observability, operational monitoring, and reporting capabilities, supporting dashboard development, data onboarding, log analysis, and reliability engineering, with a focus on network telemetry and operational data across enterprise environments.
MANDATORY SKILLS- 10+ years of overall IT experience with 2-3+ years hands‑on Splunk experience
- Strong SPL expertise — stats, timechart, transaction, eval, rex, lookup
- Experience building dashboards, drill downs, reports, and visualizations
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix for log analysis and troubleshooting
- Experience with network telemetry — Syslog, SNMP, Net Flow, IPFIX
- Understanding of enterprise networking — routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with network observability platforms — Thousand Eyes, Solar Winds, Dynatrace, App Dynamics
- Experience supporting NOC or Network Engineering teams
- Knowledge of cloud networking within AWS, Azure, or GCP
