Sr. Commodity Buyer, Facilities
The Senior Commodity Buyer will be responsible for managing all aspects of associated indirect suppliers and delivering the best level of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Facilities include multi-site energy initiatives, building leases, building maintenance, multi-site mobile equipment leases, equipment installations, utility services and additional Indirect Materials and Services categories as assigned. Develop and execute commodity strategies for the assigned commodities.
Continuously enhance purchasing expertise and knowledge of the local and global market trends. Pursue systematic TCO reductions and value enhancements for the assigned commodities. Track KPI's and deliver reports as assigned. Execute comprehensive RFQ process and support functional users in a timely manner while minimizing the risk and maximizing the value for Inteva. Develop executive level sourcing recommendations for presentation to sourcing board panel with internal stakeholder alignment.
Identify and develop strategic supply sources for the assigned commodities. Manage relationships with all suppliers, resolve supplier issues and optimize suppliers' performance. Support general business activities and requirements of the specific functional groups, carry out other duties as assigned. Negotiate (re-negotiate) agreements and purchase orders minimum 30 days prior to expiration. Perform the necessary purchase order maintenance and follow up.
Identify and develop new suppliers when appropriate. Communicate and cooperate with the Supply Chain Management Organization as a whole.
Position Requirements - 5+ years of experience in Indirect Procurement or Facilities Maintenance. Solid knowledge of cost drivers and supply base for facilities and other assigned commodities. Significant expertise in legal contract negotiations and risk management. Experience working with global supply base and internal stakeholders. Excellent communication skills with emphasis on formal presentations. Effective interpersonal skills with emphasis on customer service.
Effective and consistent follow-up skills, demonstrated multi-tasking and project management abilities. Demonstrated negotiation, problem solving and analytical skills. Advanced English proficiency.
