Planning Analyst

We are looking for a Planning Analyst to join our team at the 3M Guin facility in Guin, AL. In this role you will manage end-to-end supply chain activities, ensuring customer requirements and supply chain metrics are met.

• Manage the supply plan by purchasing raw materials, scheduling production, and managing finished good inventory for multiple manufacturing areas
• Coordinate with other 3M locations, external suppliers, and various business teams to meet service, cost, and inventory targets
• Develop and maintain operating rhythms to ensure smooth supply chain operations, aligning supply with demand
• Provide planning analysis to support decision making
• Publish and present service and inventory metrics, results, and gap analysis
• Actively manage working and non-working inventories in assigned businesses to maintain compliance and achieve inventory investment targets
• Identify and implement supply chain process improvement projects
• Support business transformation readiness activities and projects as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
• Two (2) years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain from an accredited institution
• Four (4) years of supply chain, transportation, logistics, manufacturing, production, and/or customer service experience in a private, public, government or military environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution and/or Planning System (e.g., SAP)
• APICS CPIM certification preferred;
  Six Sigma Green Belt project experience and/or certification
• Experience in Lean Scheduling or Lean Manufacturing
• Experience with Microsoft VBA Macros, SQL, MS Cloud Apps (Teams, SharePoint, Power BI)

• Competitive compensation range: $84,595 - $103,394 (base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible)
