Aviagen is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our G.A.P. team for our operations. This role is responsible for keeping facilities operating efficiently, repairing any problems when they arise, and performing preventive maintenance on buildings, structures, and grounds as needed.

• Working knowledge of poultry house equipment systems
• Perform preventive maintenance functions to include inspection, lubrication, and adjustments
• Facilitate preventive maintenance program
• Perform equipment maintenance to include equipment breakdown and repair
• Purchase necessary maintenance supplies
• Strictly adhere to all safety programs and policies
• Document all activities in report form as directed
• Help facilitate the highest level of bio-security on the farms
• Capable of responding to alarms and service calls 24/7
• May perform other duties as assigned by manager

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Industrial maintenance experience
• Industrial electrical maintenance experience
• Team-oriented worker
• Ability to perform tasks with accuracy and efficiency
• Computer literate with Microsoft Word and Excel experience
• Must have the ability to work independently with minimal instruction
• Must have valid driver's license and clean MVR

• Exposed at times to airborne particles, such as dust and dander
• Exposed to chemicals, such as detergents and disinfectants
• May be exposed to very hot temperatures, very cold temperatures, snow, sleet, ice
• Exposed to farm-related smells and foul odors
