Thompson Tractor Company is looking for a Laborer – Rental to support daily rental operations at the Rental Store. This entry‑level role maintains clean and orderly grounds, facilities, and the equipment rented to customers. The Laborer works independently under close supervision and performs duties in all weather conditions, including physically demanding tasks such as cleaning rental equipment, removing mud and debris, and maintaining the wash pad area.

The Rental Laborer responsibilities include basic safe operation of machinery and equipment, identifying and understanding material handling equipment product lines, following 5‑Star Contamination Control procedures, performing shop and yard cleanup, operating wash rack equipment, maintaining accurate work records, and assisting customers and company personnel in the yard.

• High school diploma or equivalent (minimum education)
• No previous experience required (minimum work experience)
• Organizational skills
• Basic technical skills
• Written communication skills
• Completion of area‑specific technical training
• Completion of required OSHA and MSHA training
• Completion of all required compliance training

Work is performed at the Rental Store, including inside the Service Department shop and outdoor yard areas. The position involves exposure to physical risk and varying weather conditions. Extended periods of standing and walking on hard surfaces may be required.
