Custodial Worker

About the position:
This position is guaranteed 20 hours per week. As a RPT employee, you are eligible to earn annual leave, sick leave and benefits, to include Health/Dental, Life Insurance, Employer Matching 401K and NAF Retirement.

The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of simple cleaning tasks associated with lodging operations.

The following are duties you may be required to accomplish but it is not all inclusive:

• Cleans lodging guest rooms, corridors, stairways, facilities, and other assigned lodging areas.
• Cleans and sanitizes guest room appliances, cooking utensils and dishes.
• Makes beds and changes linen.

May be required to work an uncommon tour of duty required to include nights, weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

Must be physically able to frequently lift and empty wastebaskets; frequently pushing carts, weighing more than 100 pounds, loaded with dirty laundry or wastepaper; and occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds. Must be able to continuously stand, stoop, and reach for long periods of time.

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution. FOREIGN

EDUCATION:

Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.

This position is with Air Education and Training Command, Department of the Air Force.

The posted pay range is $17.37 – $20.26/hr.
