Base pay: $15.00/hr or more, with performance and store bonuses averaging $20.00/hr actual hourly rate ranges from $15.00 to $17.00.

Job SummaryThe Salon Director in Training helps drive store performance, fosters superior client service, and maintains operational excellence to meet or exceed established productivity goals. This individual will manage and supervise tanning consultants to achieve company goals and will lead by example in all company operations.
Tasks & Responsibilities- Monitor and manage daily operations of the salon in a fast‑paced environment.
- Lead by example in all company operations, create a client‑centric experience and meet personal sales expectations.
- Maintain a professional and impeccably clean salon environment.
- Establish clear goals and objectives for team members.
- Provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve team members’ daily performance.
- Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist with other Salon Director functions.
- Assist the Salon Director in controlling top‑line revenue and expenses.
- Help maintain proper staffing levels to ensure maximum productivity and excellent customer service while controlling labor costs.
- Work nights and weekends as required.
- Work a 5‑day workweek, approximately 35‑45 hours per week, depending on hourly or salary status.
- Management and/or sales experience required.
- Beauty industry and/or customer service experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to manage effectively in a fast‑paced environment, handling multiple situations simultaneously.
- Knowledge of client‑service techniques and operational practices.
- Problem‑solving, organizational, and planning skills.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor.
- Team‑building skills.
- Ability to prioritize and delegate.
- Stand and walk for long periods.
- Bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment.
- Lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes.
- Bend down to pick up trash, towels, etc. from floors.
- Perform salon cleaning functions including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, etc.
