Job Description:The Finance Costing Manager leads UF’s centralized costing team, guiding analysts and accountants in delivering high‑quality financial models, cost‑allocation strategies, and decision‑support insights. Reporting to the Associate Director of Finance Costing, this role drives the development and execution of costing practices across research, academic, auxiliary, and operational areas. The Manager strengthens analytical rigor, enhances transparency, and partners with campus units to elevate UF’s financial decision‑making.
KeyDuties
- Lead and mentor a team of analysts and cost accountants, ensuring strong analytical performance and service excellence.
- Oversee the creation and execution of costing models, allocation methodologies, and rate‑setting components.
- Review and validate team deliverables to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with institutional standards.
- Drive process improvements that streamline costing workflows and enhance data quality and transparency.
- Collaborate with campus partners to strengthen costing practices and support informed financial planning and resource allocation.
