• High School Diploma or GED-equivalent
• 3 years’ minimum experience in maintenance activities within a heavy manufacturing environment; required In-depth experience with SAP CMMS
• Working knowledge of SAP-PM and FMEA
• Working knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic
• Ability to communicate technically and effectively with Engineers and Specialists as well as outside Contractors and Vendors
• Experience or design knowledge of Electric Arc Furnaces, Ladle Met Furnaces, Vacuum Degassers, Slab Casters strongly desired, including knowledge of pumps, hydraulic systems, lubrication systems.

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Engineering-related programs or combined equivalent of education and experience
• Prefer 5+ years’ experience in maintenance activities in a heavy industrial environment;
  Business economics, Maintenance Reliability, and Lean Six Sigma knowledge preferred

• Demonstrates strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Plans and prioritizes work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals
• Adapts approach and demeanor in real time to match the shifting demands of different situations
• Consistently achieves results, even under tough circumstances
• Ability to be in the “field” working with the craftspeople to effectively analyze tasks and make comprehensive job plans

• Manage the planning element of the Asset Reliability Maintenance Process (ARMP) through application of accepted planning practices leveraging Maintenance Work Management, Professional Maintenance organization, processes, and enabling technologies
• Develop Work Packages with the required level of detail to achieve effective and efficient scheduling and supporting maximum effectiveness and efficiency during execution including work safety
