The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records to ensure efficient production and timely distribution. This role oversees the organization of all material storage, reconciles system data with physical counts, and supports manufacturing operations by ensuring inventory integrity.
Duties And Responsibilities- Maintain accurate inventory records within the ERP system by reconciling physical counts, work orders, and system data.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in coordination with production, quality, and shipping teams.
- Perform and record daily and cycle‑count adjustments, ensuring compliance with internal control procedures.
- Monitor stock levels of raw materials and finished goods to prevent shortages or over‑stock situations.
- Participate in the planning, execution, and reconciliation of annual physical inventories.
- Close work orders and purge outdated records from the database as needed.
- Locate and prepare finished goods for shipment to meet customer requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to material flow and data accuracy.
High school diploma or the equivalent required.
- Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in inventory control or materials management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., Epicor, SAP, or similar).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform basic math and data analysis accurately.
- Effective communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to handle materials.
- Occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Work is performed in both office and production environments.
- Must be able to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment as needed.
Full‑time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Flexibility within core hours (9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.) may be allowed.
This position could potentially require weekend and overtime hours.
