Position Summary

The Hydroblast Technician is responsible for performing high-pressure water blasting, hydro-cutting, and industrial cleaning services at customer sites. This role supports day-to-day field operations by setting up equipment, following safety procedures, and executing cleaning tasks efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform hydro blasting, high-pressure/ultra-high-pressure (UHP) water jetting, and industrial cleaning operations.

* Set up hoses, pumps, pressure units, and associated equipment according to job requirements.

* Follow all company, customer, and OSHA safety rules, including proper use of PPE.

* Assist in confined space entry operations and follow all entry and rescue procedures.

* Operate industrial cleaning equipment such as vacuum trucks, water blast units, and automated tooling when required.

* Maintain clean equipment and report any operational or safety issues to supervisors.

* Complete required paperwork such as daily safety forms, JSA/JHA documents, and time sheets.

* Assist team members during mobilization, demobilization, and jobsite cleanup.

* Communicate effectively with the Hydroblast Supervisor and team members.

Requirements

Qualifications

* High school diploma or GED preferred.

* Experience in hydro blasting or industrial cleaning is a plus but not required-training may be provided.

* Valid driver's license required; CDL is a plus.

* TWIC card may be required depending on jobsite.

Skills & Competencies

* Ability to safely operate high-pressure equipment.

* Strong understanding of safety protocols and willingness to comply at all times.

* Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

* Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability.

* Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.

Physical Requirements

* Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.

* Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work for extended periods.

* Comfortable working in confined spaces, elevated areas, and varying weather conditions.

* Ability to wear full PPE, including respirators when required.
