Wash Bay Attendant

Job Description Summary

This position will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned area. Maintain control of all parts including gaskets and replacement of broken or missing parts. Help set up in the assigned department or on any other lines. This job will also be responsible for mixing cleaning solutions and other chemicals and using chemicals to clean and sanitize all machinery and areas assigned to tear down machinery at the beginning of cleanup shift.

Help set up before production starts up in the morning. Perform other duties assigned by supervisor. Ability to work cooperatively with supervisors and coworkers. Do all tasks assigned by management. Must be able to follow directions and work in other departments as needed. Must be able to perform additional duties as assigned.

• Clean and maintain assigned area.
• Maintain control of all parts including gaskets and replacement of broken or missing parts.
• Help set up in the assigned department or other lines.
• Mix cleaning solutions and other chemicals, and use chemicals to clean and sanitize machinery and areas.
• Tear down machinery at the beginning of cleanup shift.
• Help set up before production starts up in the morning.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.

• Ability to work unsupervised and self‑motivate.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours.
• Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character.
• Poultry experience preferred but not required.
• Basic understanding of machinery tear down and setup.
• Basic chemical understanding.
• Strong plus: clean up (parts) experience.
