Since 1961, the Wellborn family has owned and operated Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. The goal is to provide kitchen and bath cabinets crafted by dedicated Wellborn employees with the utmost quality and care. Today, over 55 years later, the product line has broadened to include cabinetry and storage solutions to help maximize the total home living space. One of the initial points of contact in preparation for Manufacturing.

This role will employ care and organizational skill to continue to make Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. the most valued provider of permanent home cabinets designed for a lifetime of gracious living.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for working and executing various tasks in the department
• Supervisor or Lead will assign work duties for the day
• Follows safety guidelines and work process procedures.
• Interprets paperwork, build tickets, product labels, etc. (as needed)
• Learns the product depending on assigned job - (Door styles, Face Frames, Moldings, cabinet parts, etc.) while leaning on knowledge of various wood types:
  Maple, Hickory, Cherry, Oak, MDF, Particleboard, etc.
• Operate all assigned equipment in all areas
• Temporarily covers positions, and typically pick up shifts as needed.

Tools, Machinery and Equipment:

• Safety glasses, gloves (optional)
• Tape Measure
• Production labels or paperwork
• Possible use of machines/hand tools (table saw, band saw, chop saw, groover machines, etc. and or any air tools).

• Must be proficient in reading a tape measure.
• Knowledge of all jobs in the work area.

• Must be a self-starter who works well under pressure and can follow a list of daily work assignments.
• Possesses a willingness to learn new ways to enhance productivity.
• M ust be team oriented, interactive, and possess strong communication skills.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma, GED, or 1yr of equivalent experience.

Scope and Impact:

Position has recurring work situations that involve having a high attention to detail and service results. It is important that Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. Safety protocols be followed as a guide for operational direction. Failing to follow prescribed guidelines will waste resources and adversely impact performance.

Working Conditions:
