Overview We are seeking a dependable Storeroom Attendant to support shipping, receiving, inventory, and material distribution operations at a customer site. This is a second shift, onsite role that plays a critical part in ensuring materials, parts, and supplies are accurately received, stored, and delivered to support manufacturing and operational needs.
This position reports to the Storeroom Manager and operates in a hands on, fast paced environment. Responsibilities
- Receive, unpack, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders or invoices
- Inspect received goods and reject unsatisfactory or damaged items
- Maintain accurate records of received and shipped materials
- Prepare materials for shipment, including posting weights and shipping charges
- Stock, issue, and distribute materials to inventory locations and manufacturing lines
- Prepare kitting packages to support assembly or production needs
- Perform goods issuance and inventory transactions
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, as required
- Provide delivery services as needed
- Maintain an organized, accurate, and safe storeroom environment
- High School Diploma or GED
- Legal authorization to work in the United States (no Our client sponsorship available)
- Ability to lift and handle materials safely
- Basic computer skills and ability to work within inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Dependable attendance and ability to work second shift
- 1+ year of experience in stocking, shipping, and/or receiving
- Forklift experience
- Experience with SAP (including goods issuance and cycle counting)
- Customer service experience
- Familiarity with inventory control and warehouse best practices
