Provides customers (internal and external) with proper product delivered on‑time and to the proper location. Ensure that inventory levels are accurate and maintained. Responsible for the safe operation of liquefied gas or electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices (i.e. forklift).

• Observe and comply with all safety, environmental, regulatory, and statutory requirements associated with this job description.
• Participate in needs analysis and attend and perform the requirements of scheduled training and educational programs identified for this position.
• Participate, as requested, in independent objective auditing activities and support company continuous improvement activities.
• Stop work on processes as appropriate and contain suspect or defective material or services to avoid further processing.
• Move levers and press pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
• Position forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials or hook tow trucks to trailer hitch, and transport load to designated area.
• Unload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting device.
• Inventory materials on work floor and supply workers with materials as needed.
• Weigh materials or products and record weight on tags, labels, or production schedules.
• Load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting device.
• Recharge batteries or replace liquefied gas tank.

This will be a 1st Shift / 6AM–4:30PM M–TH position located at our Plant in Cusseta, AL. Occasionally, this may require you to arrive early, stay late, or work on weekends, outside of our regular hours, to ensure we successfully meet customer needs, deadlines, or urgent requests.

• HS diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at a level sufficient to safely and effectively perform job duties, including following work instructions, safety procedures, and company communications.
• One month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous material handling work experience preferred.
• Previous hub driving experience preferred.
• Has high standards of performance for self.
• Takes responsibility for actions, results, and mistakes.
• Is thorough, accurate, and reliable when performing and completing job tasks; demonstrates honesty and integrity in all aspects of work.
