Basic Qualifications
- Skilled in assembly, integration or test operations.
- Skilled at reading and working from work instructions, schematics, engineering drawings, wiring lists, sketches, wiring connection lists, and/or other information and documentation.
- Ability to work day or night shift onsite in Courtland, Alabama.
- Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
As a Technician Specialist, you will be an integral part of our missile assembly and testing teams. You will fabricate, assemble, and test complex systems while collaborating closely with engineers and other technicians.
KeyDuties & Responsibilities
- Fabricate, assemble, and test complex assemblies/subsystems into missile systems.
- Inspect and inventory parts to ensure compliance with work instructions and specifications.
- Measure and verify dimensions using precision instruments.
- Align, fit, and assemble components using hand tools and fixtures.
- Set up and operate test equipment to evaluate part and system performance under simulated conditions.
- Support assembly, subsystem testing, environmental testing, and pack & ship operations.
- Collaborate with engineers and team members to identify, define, and solve technical challenges.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives and mentor/cooperate with team members.
- Hands‑on technical work in a dynamic, collaborative setting.
- Exposure to state‑of‑the‑art missile systems and test equipment.

- Usage and skilled in adhesives and bonding materials.
- Usage and skilled in cable harness fabrication and repair.
- Usage and skilled in soldering.
- Skilled and experienced in crane operations, lifting, and handling.
- Skilled and experienced in spacecraft ground processing life cycle in preparation for launch/mission operations.
- Skilled in general test equipment operations.
- Skilled in environmental test operations.
- Skilled in proper use of standard hand tools.
- Skilled with test and measurement equipment (e.g., multimeters, scales, or torque wrenches).
- Skilled in ordnance handling.
- Graduate of AIDT (Alabama Industrial Development Training).
Onsite, full‑time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work shift may be day or night.
