ASTEMO ROCK SPRING, INC. is a manufacturer of aluminum knuckles for automotive and power sport vehicles, located in Rock Spring, GA, operating three shifts with 400 employees.

Manager II, Production – Full Time, exempt, reporting to the Department Head, Production. Direct reports: 1–3. Salary per experience.

• Manage, direct, and plan operating processes to produce quality products in the selected department (e.g., Brake Components, Knuckle Casting, Knuckle Machining, or Knuckle Assembly).
• Promote a safety‑first attitude and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Ensure products meet customer and NBG quality specifications and that work instructions and point cards are followed.
• Ensure planned production quantities are met and deliveries are on time.
• Provide effective work instructions, promote teamwork, and prevent workflow interruptions.
• Prepare daily, monthly, quarterly reports, the annual business plan, and department/area budget items.
• Resolve production issues and suggest improvements to productivity, quality, safety, and process.

• 3+ years manufacturing/plant operations experience and 3+ years supervisory experience.
• Previous management experience in a related field.
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong leadership qualities, ability to build teams, and influence at all levels.
• Ability to interpret and analyze KPI.
• BA or BS in Management or BSME (or equivalent).

• Zero late deliveries.
• Expense budget to plan.
• Meet or exceed department business plan targets.

Regularly required to stand, use hands, and handle objects or tools, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and talk or hear. Requires lifting of up to 5 pounds routinely and up to 40 pounds occasionally.
