Essential Functions
Provide leadership and establish a safety culture. Conduct audits of the project site to verify compliance and identify unsafe conditions. Maintain documentation necessary to comply with the Site Safety Management Plan, OSHA and other applicable regulations. Work with management to enforce safety policies and procedures that help prevent accidents. Responsible for incident investigations, complaints, and recommend measures to management to prevent reoccurrences.
Interact with OSHA and other regulatory agencies regarding citations, accidents, claims, site visits and audits. Organize and conduct safety meetings and training. Able to adapt to a flexible, fast‑paced and dynamic work environment. Perform other duties as assigned. Must be able to perform as a First‑Responder for injuries or other urgent situations.
- Ability to write and implement written site safety management plan.
- Understanding of manufacturing environment and risks present.
- Good comprehension of Health & Safety OSHA rules applicable to manufacturing.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Power Point, etc.
- Must be organized.
- Must have strong computer and presentation skills.
- Team player; detail‑oriented.
- Must be able to develop and deliver training.
- Must be able to respond to after‑hours emergencies when necessary.
- Must be able to comply with swing‑shift hours if required.
- Minimum 3 years manufacturing experience required.
- OSHA 10‑Hour & 30‑Hour Certification.
Manufacturing plant environment with extreme fluctuation in temperature. Dusty and noisy environment. Exposure to odors and fumes.
