Key Responsibilities- Perform operations in the manufacturing of an aluminum knuckle for automobiles, including NDK equipment and other production lines; maintain equipment check sheets and COP in the work area.
- After initial training, cross‑train in multiple steps of the process.
- Use hand tools such as file, air sander, air chisel, air blow wand, broom, dustpan, and squeegee.
- Perform physical effort, moving lightweight materials; meet production quantities and quality targets.
- Check quality of products and parts used for production.
- Other tasks as assigned.
- Promote a safety‑first attitude, follow all required OSHA regulations and other safety practices (PPE, LOTO, fall protection, etc.).
- Collaborate with the Casting Supervisor and Quality Assurance teams to maintain equipment and product quality.
- Follow quality‑control processes and procedures to meet specifications.
- Prioritize and complete maintenance tasks to support smooth production flow.
- Coordinate production schedules to minimize disruption and contribute to on‑time delivery of cast parts.
- Identify opportunities for productivity improvements and collaborate to implement measures that increase efficiency and resource utilization.
- Drive equipment performance improvements and OEE targets.
- Provide daily updates on work progress, equipment performance, production targets, and key metrics.
- Gather and analyze data for accurate reporting.
- Teamwork and collaboration.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Adaptability and flexibility.
- Proficiency with safety regulations and quality controls in casting.
- Ability to operate casting lines and run furnace, drive transfer pot operations, complete melt processes on 4 pots.
- Monitor performance metrics (equipment uptime, OEE) and recommend improvements.
- Support key performance targets.
- Stand 8 hours; use hands and fingers; walk, reach, talk, hear; handle heated areas.
- Repetitive lifting over 700 per shift up to 15 lbs; occasional lift up to 40 lbs.
