MANUFACTURING MANAGER OVERVIEW

Our client is seeking a hands‑on Manufacturing Manager to help lead daily operations within a growing, non‑union manufacturing environment. This is a highly visible floor leadership role focused on production execution, supervisor accountability, workforce discipline, and operational consistency. The ideal candidate will bring strong production floor presence, leadership accountability, and the ability to drive results within a fast‑paced manufacturing operation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain a strong daily presence on the production floor driving safety, quality, productivity, and operational execution
  • Lead and develop frontline supervisors while reinforcing accountability, attendance management, and performance expectations
  • Ensure production schedules, staffing, materials, and equipment align with daily operational demands
  • Drive consistency across shifts and departments through standard work, operational discipline, and leadership engagement
  • Quickly identify and resolve production issues, bottlenecks, and operational inefficiencies
  • Support a culture built around accountability, reliability, communication, and continuous improvement
  • Execute performance management and disciplinary actions when necessary while maintaining fairness and consistency
  • Partner cross‑functionally with operations, scheduling, maintenance, quality, and leadership teams to support plant performance and continued growth
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience within operations, production, or plant leadership environments
  • Strong background in high‑volume manufacturing or industrial operations
  • Proven experience leading frontline supervisors and production teams
  • Strong floor presence with the ability to hold teams accountable and drive execution
  • Experience with production scheduling, staffing coordination, and operational planning
  • Comfortable operating within a non‑union manufacturing environment
  • Hands‑on leadership style with strong communication and problem‑solving skills
