Inventory Control Clerk

responsibilities

• ensure materials, packaging materials and ingredients are in their assigned locations and properly identified.
• reconcile physical count of inventory against the inventory count in database, and correct discrepancies.
• ensure equipment and materials rooms are clean and organized.
• maintain accurate material counts.
• conduct research for misplaced inventory.
• assist with issuing and returning materials, packaging materials and ingredients from the production floor to the warehouse.
• all other relevant duties to the job.

• advanced math skills required.
• excellent organizational skills with attention to detail required.

• typical office environment within a manufacturing plant utilizing computers, telephones and other office equipment.
• frequently sit for long periods.
• occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
• may be exposed to noise (>85 decibels), co2, and moving production lines.
• may be exposed to damp, wet, and cold environments.
• work around live and/or raw animal odors.
