Maintenance Generalist MG03

The Maintenance Generalist MG03 is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and company assets. This role ensures a safe work environment and adherence to Tyson policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and disassemble equipment.
• Housekeeping responsibilities.
• Operate and maintain mobile equipment, pneumatic, and circuit components.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on all equipment.
• Perform physical tasks such as climbing, standing, bending, sitting, and carrying/pushing/pulling up to 70 lbs. multiple times weekly.
• Work in varying conditions, including hot and cold environments.
• Work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Follow instructions and communicate effectively. Work at heights.

External Requirements:

• Up to six months of work experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance; agriculture milling maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Basic computer skills for training purposes.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a PIT Certification.
• The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.
• Rehire Rule of no more than 3 times worked at Tyson Foods.
