Maintenance Technician / Mechanic

Haemonetics is hiring Maintenance Technicians out of our Center of Excellence in Clinton, PA. In this role, you will directly impact product quality and operational efficiency by applying advanced technical problem‑solving within the automation department. This is a direct‑hire opportunity with benefits starting day 1 of hire.
Primary Responsibilities- Minimize equipment downtime and ensure achievement of daily and weekly production goals by diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing production equipment, including molding machines, high‑volume, high‑speed automated assembly equipment, welders, conveyor systems, and other auxiliary equipment such as case sealers, printers, labelers, flow wrappers, etc.; utilize diagrams, schematics, manuals, instructions, and engineering specifications in the completion of these job functions.
- Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; solicit information from line operators and other production associates, and listen for problems. Use precision measuring and testing instruments, gauges, and other hand tools to complete essential functions.
- Verify effectiveness of repairs and improvements and ensure product produced meets specification.
- Perform and document all preventive maintenance in accordance with manufacturer’s operation and maintenance schedule, policy and procedure and facility guidelines.
- Provide mechanical maintenance support to production associates by answering questions and requests; communicate with operators, engineering, management, outside contractors and others as necessary.
- Fabricate any new fixturing required for the department to which you are assigned, as well as modifications to existing equipment.
- Assists with investigating potential areas for quality and efficiency improvements.
- Recommend process adjustments to aid production and implement changes as directed.
- Recommend and implement improvements to ensure a safe workplace; identify and report potential safety hazards.
- Order spare parts inventory for machines and equipment.
- Comply with all GMPs, SOPs, MIs and SIs during the course of work.
- Comply with facility escalation procedures.
- Maintain all required documentation, including production and maintenance logs.
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent, required.
- Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, Technical Degree, Certification, or Apprenticeship in a related field, preferred.
- Experience as a maintenance mechanic (or similar role) in a production environment.
- Maintenance experience in a medical device manufacturing environment, preferred.
- Experience with high‑speed, high‑volume, PLC‑based production systems, preferred.

Pay TransparencyThe base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account, without limitation, the candidate’s location, education, job‑knowledge, skills, and experience in prior relevant roles. Incentives may also be provided as part of Haemonetics’ employee compensation. For non‑sales roles, employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and may participate in the company’s long‑term incentive plan, with eligibility and target amount dependent on the role.

The base salary range for this role is: $23.80–$40.40 per hour.
