Production Laborer- Lumber Manufacturing

Production Laborer

We are seeking dependable and hardworking Production Laborers to join a growing lumber manufacturing operation. This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy physical work, working with their hands, and being part of a production team. Employees will assist with the handling, sorting, stacking, and movement of lumber products throughout the production process. This is a physically demanding position that requires frequent lifting, carrying, and moving of large lumber boards and materials in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities:

• Sort, stack, and organize lumber products according to specifications
• Load and unload lumber and other wood materials
• Assist with production and manufacturing operations
• Inspect products for quality and defects
• Operate hand tools and basic production equipment as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines
• Assist with general labor duties throughout the facility
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet production goals

Requirements:

• Previous manufacturing, production, construction, lumber yard, or general labor experience preferred
• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy lumber materials throughout the shift
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and perform repetitive physical tasks
• Comfortable working in a production or industrial environment
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
• Must be able to pass any required pre-employment screenings

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent lifting of heavy lumber and wood products
• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Repetitive bending, stooping, and reaching
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and production conditions
