Plant Site Supervisor

Air Products seeks a Site Supervisor for its production facility in Claiborne, AL, responsible for overseeing plant operations, maintenance, safety, and record‑keeping across two low‑pressure and one high‑pressure oxygen VSA units.

• Supervise day‑to‑day operations, including troubleshooting plant process problems, ensuring compliance with Safety Performance and Basic Safety Process, and managing plant projects.
• Lead environmental, safety, and quality training for operations and maintenance personnel.
• Develop and implement corrective/preventive maintenance measures.
• Interface with tactical planning, delivery logistics, and North American Operating Service Center (OSC) to manage inventory and ensure productivity targets.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Provide 24/7 on‑call coverage for plant alarms and shutdowns.
• Communicate regularly with asset manager, regional maintenance manager, technical support team, and line manager.

• High School diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience, preferred safety‑focused.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Expected travel less than 30%.
• Physical ability to climb ladders, lift at least 50 lbs, and work in high noise environments.

• Knowledge of Safety Performance, Basic Safety Process compliance, and Process Safety Management.
• Experience troubleshooting plant process problems and supervising daily activities.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
• Prior maintenance experience in an industrial plant.
• Computer proficiency.
• History of success in EH&S and Quality. Experience with goods generation or air separation fractional distillation is a plus.
