Job Details

Responsibilities:

Perform intricate soldering tasks on various electronic components and PCBs.

Conduct visual inspection of solder joints to IPC standards (e.g., IPC-A-610, J-STD-001).

Assemble, modify, and repair printed circuit boards (PCBs) to meet production and quality standards.

Interpret and work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble‑shooting functions.

Provide technical support to other team members and departments to optimize production processes.

Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the workspace.

Document and report any defects or quality deviations in the production process.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Soldering Technician or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.

Knowledge of IPC standards (e.g., IPC-A-610, J-STD-001) and the ability to conduct visual inspections of solder joints to these standards.

Proven experience in assembling, modifying, and repairing printed circuit boards (PCBs) to meet production and quality standards.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics.

High level of attention to detail and quality.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

A relevant certification or diploma in electronics or a related field is preferred.
