Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Perform intricate soldering tasks on various electronic components and PCBs.
  • Conduct visual inspection of solder joints to IPC standards (e.g., IPC-A-610, J-STD-001).
  • Assemble, modify, and repair printed circuit boards (PCBs) to meet production and quality standards.
  • Interpret and work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble‑shooting functions.
  • Provide technical support to other team members and departments to optimize production processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the workspace.
  • Document and report any defects or quality deviations in the production process.
  • Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Soldering Technician or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of IPC standards (e.g., IPC-A-610, J-STD-001) and the ability to conduct visual inspections of solder joints to these standards.
  • Proven experience in assembling, modifying, and repairing printed circuit boards (PCBs) to meet production and quality standards.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics.
  • High level of attention to detail and quality.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A relevant certification or diploma in electronics or a related field is preferred.
