Production Manager, Industrial Maintenance, Manufacturing & Industrial Operations
Production Supervisors must provide strong leadership and effectively manage team members, materials, equipment, process and cost for the team(s) assigned. Production Supervisors are required to focus on Safety, Quality, Cost, JIT requirements and productivity of their assigned areas. Production Supervisor are also responsible to lead and enforce ALL of the company’s policies and procedures. The roles and responsibilities listed are not meant to be all inclusive.

- To support and ensure compliance with the Hanon Business Operating Systems.
- Follow, explain and clarify company policies and procedures to all Team Members.
- Lead the Team in all principles of Safety and other regulations. Use progressive discipline to Tack problematic areas and update the Superintendent / HR as needed of any ongoing issues.
- Recommend and assist in implementing measures to improve production methods, equipment, Product quality and efficiency through daily meetings and production reports. Manage issues that Arise and maintain responsibility for downtime, team issues, quality issues and report as required.
- Monitor and enforce all attendance policies for all Team Members.
- Allocate, monitor and report manning weekly to remain within direct and indirect labor goals.
- Support and promote all initiatives of the 5S Programs.
- Train, coach and motivate the production Teams Members.
- Participate and facilitate training, evaluations, CFTs, committees and task forces as required.
- Communicate issues to Plant Superintendent, other support groups and the Team on a daily basis.
- Promote teamwork and be a team player in all areas of the plant.
- Perform maintenance on Work Instructions as 4M request details.
- Report all production data to appropriate groups on a timely daily basis.
- Perform all other assigned duties.
- Demonstrated knowledge of products, processes, and systems.
- High School Graduate or at least 5-6 years’ experience in Supervisory position.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to include computer literacy.
Pay Range: $21.10 - $33.99
PRODUCTION TECHNICIANUnderstand the functions of the production equipment and be able to troubleshoot and make minor adjustments as needed. Perform required PM and tooling changes to support production process. Ensure product quality through scrap analysis, equipment monitoring, continuous improvement and 5S. The roles and responsibilities listed are not meant to be all inclusive. The needs of the company may require individuals to perform other functions.
ROLESAND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Startup designated machines as to the Engineer’s or Supervisor’s direction. This should be performed in a timely manner.
- Stand by during normal production hours to support production supervisors and engineers for troubleshooting, routine machine adjustments, and covering T/M absents and production requirement.
- Be able to run all production related equipment and tooling in assigned area to support production in case of emergency.
- Submit daily work result in written form to manager.
- Monitor assembly equipment and tooling to ensure they are maintained according to the daily check sheets.
- Responsible for notifying the production supervisor or manufacturing engineer immediately if critical quality and/or production related problems occur.
- Scrap reduction should be first priority during normal process. Analyze scrap at line side reject carts and react immediately to any abnormal or excessive defect conditions.
- Support maintenance department activities for equipment and tooling (i.e. Pm schedule, daily maintenance.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities as they relate to machinery and equipment, including weekly CFT meetings.
- Participate in all trainings provided by Engineering, Safety and Production department.
- Diagnosis common equipment issues as they occur and provide punctual repair.
- Responsible for notifying maintenance department for machine issues beyond the repair capability of the technician.
- Be able to support production setup of all Fukuda and Cosmo leak testers used in production operations.
- Maintain the 5S system (Organization, Clearness, and Standardization).
- Perform tool change as needed on manufacturing equipment.
- Support and ensure part quality meets all quality standards.
- Minimum College level diploma in Mechanical/Electrical or 2+ Year manufacturing experience (Maintenance and/or production)
- Must have strong work ethic and mechanical ability.
- Must be able to work overtime and some weekends.
- Strong leadership and accountability
- Must be able to use PC and knowledge of Microsoft Office
Pay Range: $18.54 to $25.70
