The Manufacturing Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Eclectic, AL, responsible for overseeing daily production activities on the manufacturing floor. This role coordinates workflow, assigns tasks, and monitors performance to meet safety, quality, and production goals. The supervisor leads, trains, and supports team members, promotes continuous improvement, and ensures adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing production schedules, resolving operational issues, maintaining equipment and work areas, and reporting on output and staffing needs.
The Manufacturing Supervisor also collaborates with maintenance, quality, and leadership teams to optimize processes and support a safe, engaged, and efficient workforce.
- Experience in manufacturing operations, including supervising production lines and coordinating daily workflow.
- Knowledge of safety, quality, and compliance standards applicable to a manufacturing environment.
- Skills in team leadership, coaching, and performance feedback to support a diverse group of employees.
- Ability to interpret production schedules, track metrics, and use basic computer systems or ERP tools.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills for addressing equipment, process, and staffing issues.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and reporting to management.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary technical or manufacturing-related education is a plus.
- Prior supervisory experience in manufacturing or a related industrial setting strongly preferred.
Willingness to work on-site in Eclectic, AL and adapt to changing production priorities and demands.
