M Force Partners is seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement Facilitator to lead operational excellence initiatives across a manufacturing environment supporting advanced technologies for defense and government applications. This Continuous Improvement Facilitator role will partner with operations, engineering, and production leadership to identify opportunities, eliminate waste, improve productivity, and implement Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement strategies that deliver measurable business results.

The ideal Continuous Improvement Facilitator will have a strong background in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping, along with experience leading cross-functional improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute Continuous Improvement strategies that align with operational and business objectives
  • Analyze manufacturing data, production processes, and workflows to identify opportunities for improved productivity, quality, equipment uptime, waste reduction, and cost savings
  • Lead Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement projects from planning through implementation and sustainment
  • Facilitate events and cross-functional improvement workshops
  • Partner with operations, engineering, production, and leadership teams to prioritize and execute improvement initiatives
  • Train and mentor production teams on Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement methodologies
  • Lead Value Stream Mapping, Kanban implementation, Pull Systems, Standardized Work, Takt Time Analysis, Setup Reduction (SMED), 5S, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Visual Workplace, Visual Factory, Error Proofing (Poka-Yoke), scheduling improvements, and other Operational Excellence initiatives
  • Support value stream teams in sustaining Lean improvements and long‑term operational gains
  • Track project performance, analyze results, and communicate measurable business improvements to leadership
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence throughout the facility
  • Support additional operational, manufacturing, and engineering initiatives as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience leading Continuous Improvement initiatives in a fabrication and assembly environment
  • Extensive experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, Standardized Work, Kanban, Pull Systems, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, and other process improvement methodologies
  • Demonstrated success leading cross‑functional Continuous Improvement projects with measurable business results
  • Strong analytical, project management, problem‑solving, and facilitation skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence teams and drive organizational change
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
Preferred Qualifications
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
  • Experience with SAP and Wave Analytics
  • Experience supporting fabrication, assembly, or advanced manufacturing operations
  • Experience leading Operational Excellence initiatives in complex manufacturing environments
  • Experience supporting government or defense‑related manufacturing is a plus
