S&I Welder/Fabricator

Reports To: S&I Manager, S&I On-Site Project Manager, and S&I Lead

Summary of Position: Individual must possess the physical and mental ability to safely operate mechanical tools such as grinders, TIG welders, and basic hand tools (vise grips, square, hammer, and wrenches).

• Travel all over the continental U.S. for long periods.
• Move, lift, and assemble equipment.
• Work weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Assist in all areas as needed or required by S&I management.
• Follow directions and instructions provided by S&I Manager, S&I On-Site Project Manager, and S&I Lead.

• Mathematical skills, including adding and subtracting fractions and decimals.
• Ability to read prints and spec sheets (preferred).
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Work safely in all situations.
• Interpret tape measure in 16ths of an inch.
• Work with others in a team environment.
• Drive a lift truck (plus, though not required).
• Successfully complete TIG weld test (preferred).

• Guaranteed 40 hours per week (if available).
• Overtime pay after 40 hours, and after 8 hours on Saturday and Sunday before 40 hours is met.
• $50 per day per diem (meal money).
• Paid travel to job site (there and back).
• $500 per month driver incentive for eligible and approved drivers.
